Sony Ericsson Run To The Beat Half Marathon
5th October 2008
With 17 live music stages and 12,500 competitors set to take part, this new running event in Greenwich, South-East London, is expected to be a great success. Although places for the 2008 event are now full, please visit the website to find out about 2009 entries.

Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon
12th October 2008
Beginning in Hyde Park, this new London running event takes competitors through Green Park and onto St. James Park, before hitting the bank of the river Thames and passing some of London's most famous landmarks. For further information on this exciting new event, please visit the official website.

BUPA Great South Run
26th October 2008
The BUPA Great South Run is a 10 mile run set in historic Portsmouth. It's a fantastic course that meanders from the City, out onto the seafront passing HMS Warrior and HMS Victory on the way.

adidas Silverstone Half Marathon
March 2009 - Date TBC
The adidas Silverstone Half Marathon takes place around the famous Silverstone motor racing circuit. The home of the British Grand Prix provides a fantastic flat half marathon course, which makes it a great race for all abilities.

London Triathlon

The London Triathlon is a fantastic and exciting event that both novice and experienced people can realistically take part in. Triathlon is the fastest growing multi-discipline sport in the UK. You can enter by yourself or as a team by visiting the London Triathlon website.
The race consists of a swim, followed by a bike ride and then a run to finish it all off. There are three distances as well so you can choose which one best suits you. Individuals have a choice of the Sprint and Olympic distances and teams have the additional choice of the Supersprint distance.
Hydro Active Women's Challenge

Held in London, Liverpool and Birmingham, on the same day, this race is organised by the team responsible for the world famous London Marathon. This event is for all women of any ability; it's an unforgettable day and a fantastic experience.

Nike Budapest Half Marathon

With over 6000 runners taking part, the Nike Budapest Half Marathon has become increasingly popular due to its spectaular surroundings and carnival atmosphere. After the race around Hungary's capital city, runners are treated not only to fireworks, but also the opportunity to bathe their aching feet in one of the 22 pools of the famous Szechenyi thermal bath.

Reebok Bristol Half Marathon

Celerbrating it's 21st birthday next year, over 15,000 people are expected to take to the streets of Bristol to compete in one of the largest and most popular half marathons in the country.

Robin Hood Half Marathon

Held each year in Nottingham the half marathon caters for every type of runner, from first time competitors to seasoned international racers. Known for it's friendly atmosphere, the race also passes many of Nottingham's most historic and scenic sites.
