London Marathon
Taking part in the London Marathon is a truly amazing and life changing
experience.
No one can accurately describe the electric atmosphere, the support from your fellow
runners, or the feeling of
finishing in the Mall with tens of thousands of people cheering you home.
It is an enormous challenge, but whatever your age or fitness, thousands before have proved that with a strong enough desire, and the correct preparation, you can do it!
The 2008 event
Massive "CONGRATULATIONS AND THANKS!" goes out to all runners for Everyman in the 2008 Flora London Marathon. It was a fantastic day and the whole team worked really hard to make it round the gruelling 26.2 miles whilst raising thousands of pounds for Everyman's vital cancer research.
To date the 2008 London Marathon Everyman and Institute of Cancer Research team have raised over £70,000 for our vital cancer research.

How to get a place - 2009 entries now open!
The 2009 Flora London Marathon takes place on Sunday 26th April 2009. Places in this event are highly sought after so to increase your changes of gaining a places we recommend you apply to both the public ballot AND to Everyman for a guaranteed place.
