Starting and finishing near the Brandenburg Gate, one of Berlin's most famous landmarks, the Berlin Marathon attracts a field of more than 40,000 athletes – who have been flocking to run the 26.2-mile course every year since 1974. And with 1 million spectators cheering you to the finish it really is a fantastic event to be part of.
And, as we are not tied in with any tour operators for this event, you have the freedom to arrange your own travel. This gives you the flexibility to make a short trip just for the big day or to arrange a longer stay and make the most of being in one of the liveliest and most diverse capitals in the world!
Taking part in the event
Our team for the 2008 Berlin Marathon is now full however, if you have obtained a place in the event yourself and would like to raise money for Everyman, please let us know and we can send a full runners welcome pack straight away.
If you are interested in participating in the 2009 real,-BERLIN Marathon you can pre-register your interest now and we will send you full details as soon as applications open, later in the year.
