Hairy Haggis Relay

If the thought of completing a full marathon is not for you then why not call on a few friends to help you out. With four members in each team you get the excitement and satisfaction of marathon race day but you only have to complete one leg each - so choose your leg carefully!
Leg One - The Royal Leg (8 miles)
Leg Two - The Cock and Pan Leg (5 miles)
Leg Three - The Gosfrod Leg (8 miles)
Leg Four - The Glory Leg (5 miles)

We are delighted to be able to offer our supporters a guaranteed team entry in the relay. In return, we ask you to pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £700 per team (that’s only £175 each!)
To apply for one of our guaranteed places email the Sports Events Team with your details and an application pack will be sent out to you.
Other Edinburgh runs
Want to go it alone and take all the glory? Then there are other Edinburgh runs you can take part in. Everyman has guaranteed places in the Edinburgh Marathon and Edinburgh Half Marathon. Both races start and finish at the same points as the Hairy Haggis Relay and are also on the same day.
